Update: The Wire’s Dream Magazine 2nd Collection Submission Deadline: June 1st, 2017
This Moment is a self-narrative project that asks us to be present, if for only a few minutes in our lives. The purpose is to become conscious of our experience in relation to what has happened throughout this political season and since this administration came into power. My intention is to feature these moments as a collection of our voices and as a document of our response to this political climate.
I believe that creativity will be the glue that binds us together and all of our beautiful differences. The pamphlets are free to GP surgery’s and are available for patients to take away with them. PitWR encourage submissions, so any poet or budding poet can submit a poem to be included.
Since The Black Lion Journal is known for valuing our contributors, our submitters, our authors, our reviewers, and our guests, it’s in no shape or form incongruous that 8-West Press, established by Binh H. Nguyen and company, have a valued place here.
It’s been officially 2 months since I have taken TBL Journal offline for “temporary” updates. To be quite honest, the updates for TBL Journal were scheduled to be routine and quick. This was before I decided to relaunch TBL Journal so that its mission and goal were updated to reflect the evolving nature of lit journals. It has done so to my satisfaction—and hopefully to yours as well.
