I highly recommend this collection for those who enjoy reading about female agency and sexual liberation as well as those who are interested in writing on these topics and would like to find a creative model to follow.
The stories are of diverse world-views and perspectives, of events that we all can relate to because we are human and because we are storytellers by nature.
With every turn of the page, we begin to understand that there is more than one kind of strength to be valued — and James Matlack Raney does a marvelous job in delivering that message.
David Copperfield was engaging and I got to the end of it feeling very pleased to have read it.
Birds essay explores loss by learning to appreciating life and life’s lessons. By uncovering reoccurring patterns within her daily life, and with the aid of nature, Bird rediscovers what it means to be a part of something larger than she could have ever imagined.
